Curious Minds
Therapy isn’t just for when things fall apart — it’s a space to explore, grow, and reconnect with yourself.
At Curious Minds, I offer a supportive, non-judgmental space where we can gently unpack life’s challenges, discover patterns, and develop tools to help you move forward with clarity and self-understanding. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship stress, or simply feeling stuck, therapy is a place for curiosity — not perfection.
Let’s explore, together.
I’m a licensed psychologist passionate about helping people better understand themselves, their emotions, and their relationships. My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based practices — because I believe that meaningful change starts with deeper self-awareness.
I completed my Master’s degree in Psychology, specializing in Development, Counseling, and Education in 2015 at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. In 2019, I relocated to Amsterdam to work in a specialized mental health clinic. After five years of experience in that setting, I made the decision to invest in my own private practice — creating Curious Minds as a space for deeper, more personal therapeutic work.
I provide both in-person and online sessions, in Portuguese and English, to support you wherever you are, geographically or emotionally.
I work with adults and teenagers navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, self-esteem issues, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Whether you’re seeking clarity, healing, or simply a safe space to process and grow, I offer a thoughtful and tailored approach.
If you're ready to begin (or return to) your journey inward, I’m here to walk alongside you.
Therapeutic Approaches
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
We’ll work together to recognize and shift patterns of thought and behavior that may be contributing to emotional distress, creating space for more constructive responses.
-
Schema Therapy
Together, we’ll uncover long-standing emotional patterns rooted in early life experiences, understand how they influence your current relationships and self-view, and begin to transform them.
-
EMDR
EMDR helps your brain reprocess difficult experiences in a way that reduces their emotional intensity. We move at your pace, always making sure you feel safe, grounded, and in control.
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
In our work, we’ll explore how to accept difficult thoughts and feelings, while also clarifying your values and taking steps toward a more fulfilling life.
